Summary: Overall the responses were very positive with 97% of Members who like coming to the club and only 3%, one Member, was undecided at present. We received 100% positive feedback from Members, finding the staff and volunteers always helpful.
Members were very complimentary about the staff and volunteers, stating they were lovely, fantastic and cheerful. One of the overriding themes was regarding the friendliness of the club, including staff and Members.
The majority of Members enjoyed the midday meal, with a few negative responses; we endeavour to accommodate a variety of tastes and preferences regarding food. We are unable to offer a choice at lunchtime, but if a Member doesn’t like the meal served, we will always offer them soup or a sandwich.
The club provides a cognitive stimulation therapy programme for older adults living with dementia to improve the well-being of its Members through the many and varied activities it uses. Members also stated that they enjoyed taking part in the various activities offered. Two mentioned that they couldn’t do some activities, this has been noted and we will take extra care to ensure we are adapting activities or finding alternatives for Members to engage with. It is important that our Members experience a sense of achievement rather than failure.
The results of this satisfaction survey go some way to confirm that our members are happy with the service we are providing and that we are on target in achieving our mission statement..
